Mathematics
The Collegiate Academy Math Department takes a mastery-based approach to learning mathematics. Fundamentals, theory and applications take on equal importance as students learn mathematics by actively doing mathematics. Technology is incorporated where it is appropriate and enriching (graphing calculators, computers, interactive white boards, etc.). We offer challenging opportunities for all students, including courses at local Universities for accelerated students. The mathematics department recognizes that the future is uncertain, careers change as well as opportunities. Our goal is to prepare students mathematically for all possibilities.
