The Academy of Music at Collegiate Academy exists to provide opportunities for musical expression and creativity, and to inspire the development of lifelong musicians. The study of music and the arts plays a vital role in the development of well-rounded, educated individuals. To that end, this prestigious department features a wide variety of choral and instrumental performing ensembles, piano classes, one-on-one instruction and a comprehensive approach to music theory. Select ensembles perform in the community on a regular basis and have been featured in such venues as JazzErie events and the Festival of the Trees. Collegiate music students continually raise the level of excellence within each group and in the process, develop a unique sense of camaraderie. The musical experiences at Collegiate will create memories that will remain for a lifetime.
