Parent Information

Collegiate Academy will host a college financial aid representative on Tuesday evening, January 20th in the school auditorium. Information will be provided on filing the FAFSA form and understanding the details of merit and need-based financial aid.

To receive federal financial aid (including access to low interest student loans) students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible after January 1. There are three ways to complete a FAFSA:

  • Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will need a pin number, which you can request at www.pin.ed.gov.
  • Download and complete a PDF version of the FAFSA at www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov. Note: PDF FAFSAs must be mailed for processing, which takes longer than online filing.
  • Request a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) or 1-319-337-5665.
