USAD Team Wins State Competition
The Collegiate Academy United States Academic Decathlon team won the state competition this past weekend, scoring 45,879 points to beat out 13 other schools. Collegiate Academy has won the state competition nine out of the past 10 years and has earned the right to represent Pennsylvania at the national competition in Omaha in April. The theme of this year's competition is the French Revolution.
The team comprises, in Honors, Sean Carney, Ben Engel, and Rachel Vandevert; in Scholastic, John Luke Galla, Rose Heid, and Bronte Seath; and, in Varsity, Reeve Hunsaker, Cullen Skinner, and Stan Tuznik.
