National Honor Society

Advisors: Mrs. Barb Nichols and Mrs. Cheryl Rees

National Honor Society is an organization of junior and senior students who meet monthly and maintains community service project work throughout the year. Students with a 3.5 grade point average at the end of their sophomore year are invited to apply for membership early in their junior year. Acceptance to the organization is based on the National Honor Society requirements of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Student applicants must have twenty-five hours of documented community service work.

Teacher recommendations and dues of $15 are also part of the application. This is a one-time fee that will include hunior and senior National Honor society membership dues.

An additional 25 community service hours will be required by April 15 of their senior year.
